STG Defensive Firearms Simulator Workshop
This course requires ZERO LIVE Ammunition! The mission of this workshop is to put firearms and firearms training into something truly lacking in the industry, PERSPECTIVE! This workshop not only builds skills for new and experienced shooters at all levels but just as important, helps build test and build the confidence to correctly apply these skills into real world scenarios with a high rate of repetition with both physical drills and cognitive threat recognition. Stages induce surprise, chaos and threats in which attendees will have to work through. Some of the best firearms technology available in the civilian market is used to create an immersive training environment. Advanced tech such as SIRT laser training guns, drop in laser modules for handguns, AR carbines and even pump action 12 gauge shotguns put real feeling tools into students hands to learn. This workshop is led by highly experienced instructors from the Law Enforcement, Military and Military contracting world that guide students through virtual ranges, turning, transitional and multi-hit targets until students are ready to face threats at the "Speed of LIfe". These interactive training includes many scenario videos in which put students in real world situations in which they must verbally challenge and decide on "shoot, no shoot" outcomes which will further their firearm fundamental abilities. This full 9 hour course by does NOT include a LIVE FIRE portion of training. |
NRA Concealed Carry Course
**** This course will qualify you to apply for a Florida CCW
The NRA CCW course is specifically designed to meet the minimum requirements of all the different states, which issue Concealed Carry permits. (Currently the course is designed for FL CCW, but will expand to other states in the future with updated modules for former students.)
This course covers 10 different classroom lessons in which teach the basic knowledge, skills and attitude needed to be prepared to carry a firearm concealed. This course bridges the gap between the NRA Basic Pistol course and more advanced courses offered.

NRA Basic Pistol Course
**** This course will qualify you to apply for a Florida CCW
NRA Basic Pistol. The NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude for owning and operating a pistol safely. This course is 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols.
Course includes:
- Essential gun safety rules
- Different types of pistols and which one is best for you
- The basics of ammunition
- The fundamentals of pistol shooting
- Different shooting positions
- The most common shooting errors
- Proper gun cleaning and maintenance
- How to maintain your skills
To qualify as an NRA Instructor: Candidates must have completed the basic course in the discipline they wish to be certified to teach, e.g. NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting (Instructor Led Only), NRA Basic Rifle Shooting, etc. Candidates must possess and demonstrate a solid background in firearm safety and shooting skills acquired through previous firearm training and/or previous shooting experience. Instructor candidates must be intimately familiar with each action type in the discipline for which they wish to be certified. Candidates will be required to demonstrate solid and safe firearm handling skills required to be successful during an instructor training course by completing pre-course questionnaires and qualification exercises administered by the NRA Certified Training Counselor. Candidates must satisfactorily complete an NRA Instructor Training Course in the discipline they wish to teach (e.g., NRA Basic Pistol Course), and receive the endorsement of the NRA Training Counselor conducting that training. NRA Instructor courses are discipline specific. During the course candidates will learn NRA policies and procedures; basic public speaking skills; training methodology; use of a training team and training aids; organizing a course, building a budget; and finally preparing to teach. In addition, candidates will be provided the appropriate lesson plans and basic course student packets. Role-playing is a major part of an instructor course; therefore, the minimum class size should be at least four candidates, with 10-12 candidates being ideal. Candidates take turns working in teams, actually conducting portions of the course to other candidates who portray basic students. Instructor training courses are conducted by NRA Training Counselors. Training Counselors are active and experienced instructors who have been certified by NRA to train experienced shooters to teach others to shoot. Training Counselors will evaluate candidates' performance based on their ability to handle the firearms with confidence, use of appropriate training aids, following the lesson plans and meeting all learning objectives, while utilizing the teaching philosophies expected of NRA Certified Instructors. Candidates can also expect to learn the NRA discipline specific instructional methods and evaluating and improving the performance of beginning shooters.
NRA Basic Rifle Course This course is designed to teach the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a Rifle safely. The course is perfect for the new Rifle owner and serves as an introductory course for more advanced hunting or competition rifle match training. The basics of marksmanship are the lifelong building blocks for many other hunting or shooting sports. The goal of the Basic Rifle course familiarize you with the correct operation and maintenance all types of Rifles, along with teaching you how to handle and shoot them safely. |
NRA Basic Shotgun Course Teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe and proper use of a shotgun in shooting a moving target. This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning how to shoot shotguns at moving targets. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components; shotgun shell malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting at straight away and angled targets; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate. |
NRA Personal Protection In The Home Course
This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family, and to provide information on the law-abiding individual’s right to self-defense. More Details: Prerequisite: NRA Basic Pistol Course Certificate, NRA FIRST Steps Course Certificate, NRA pistol competitive shooting qualification card, or military DD 214 with pistol qualification. Description: This is an eight-hour course. Students should expect to shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition. Students will learn basic defensive shooting skills, strategies for home safety and responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law, how to choose a handgun for self-defense, and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the NRA Guide to the Basics of Personal Protection In The Home handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, the Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, and course completion certificate. Note: Lesson III of this course: Firearms and the Law, and Legal Aspects of Self-Defense, is conducted by an attorney licensed to practice law within the state in which this course is given and who is familiar with this area of the law, or a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) who possesses an intermediate or higher Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certificate granted within the state, or an individual currently certified to instruct in this area of the law by the state in which this course is presented. NRA Certified Instructors may conduct this lesson only if they meet the requirements stated above and then only in their capacity as an attorney, or other state certified individual not in their capacity as an NRA Certified Instructor. |
USCCA Realtor Safety Course
This course examines why realtors are at risk, how to enhance situational awareness, stress mitigation, proper mindset and defensive strategies. This course will further explore Defensive options including non-lethal alternatives as well as Emergency First Aid considerations and future training opportunities. |

USCCA WOMEN'S HANDGUN AND SELF DEFENSE FUNDAMENTALS COURSE
Created and led by Beth Alcazar, USCCA Associate Editor and Senior Training Counselor, Women’s Handgun and Self-Defense Fundamentals is all about sharing the basics—along with the fun, the seriousness, and the importance of being a responsibly armed female. STG Developed Defensive Shotgun Course

STG - Low Light Pistol Course
Learn how to "Fight the Night" during this intensive 4 hour course designed to teach students how to properly scan the area for threats and engage targets during low light / no light exercises. SIRT, 6 mm and Live Fire platforms will be used during this course in ensure safety and enrich training scenarios. Instructors will demonstrate techniques used by Law Enforcement and Military units around the world that are safe and effective for civilian application as they guide students through various courses of fire. |
